TV Line Talks To Alan Ball at Comic Con

Are you sick and tired of watching Comic Con videos yet? Here’s an interesting video where Michael Ausiello from TV Line interviews Alan Ball in the press booth at Comic Con!

In this interview, Alan Ball teases the season finale as well as what else we can expect during the last half of True Blood Season 5!

WARNING: If you don’t want to know – don’t watch below!

Watch the interview below!

Hmmm…I think I know who Steve Newlin will be involved with. Russell, anyone? I also love the fact he loves to write for Pam. She’s one of my favorite characters too.

As far as Eric, Sookie and Bill being in the final scene of the season, I’m not sure what I think of that, but judging by what Alan Ball said in this interview…I’m thinking Bill is going to go from bad to worse. He’ll be the one both Eric and Sookie will try to ‘help’ – with no results.

What are your thoughts? Feel free to share them below!

  1. eric and Sookie probably have to save Beehl, erics best friend and Sookies “soulmate” *eyeroll*, so typical Alan ball.

  2. Obviously, Alan Ball is talking about Sookie is going to have sex with Bill thinking he will be the same ole Bill and he is not, so she puts her life in danger …..Alcide and Sookie to me it seems like Sookies actions says she is not interested in Alcide as a lover but Alan Ball is saying that she still is ….whatever on that. Eric is going to try to save Bill who is killing a lot of humans and probably put his life in danger doing so …..Alan Ball writes some crazy stuff makes no sense and its not popular at all.

  3. I don’t know what to think of this show anymore . It’s so far off from the books . I am losing interest in it slowly . ALex parts are to influenced all with Bill for me . I hate that period .. I feel Alex should be the bigger part in the show now and they refuse to do so .

  4. Meh, I’m just along for the ride. I’ve let go of the idea that he writers of the show will ever follow the books and that’s okay. More interesting in some respects. But with that said, yeah I think this will all be about Bill drama. He’s easily influenced and really devious which means he’s pretty susceptible to manipulation. Of course Eric and Sookie to the rescue and big fat cliffhanger for us to brood over for the next six months. But whatever I’m in to it.

    • I agree…I’ve accepted the fact it won’t follow the books anymore. *sigh* I’m not happy about it, but I can deal.

As for Bill…I think he’s the biggest asskisser ever! He flip-flops to who has the most power, as long as it suits him and his needs. Right now, he wants to stay alive and I think he’ll be brainwashed by the Sanguinistas into believing their way is the right way. I think Eric and Sookie will help him out because they know him and can see what they’re doing to him….but I don’t think it work. Bill will turn over to the ‘dark side’ and there will be no going back after that. Hopefully, this will happen!

This is good news for us, because Sookie will lose whatever respect and love for him that she has, and won’t ever be with someone who believes in that stuff. 🙂

      • Erika, I am starting to believe that maybe sookie will see the true Bill Compton finally and he will not be a rival at least for moat of season 6…..with these writers there is not such thing as forever….then it would be Alcide back in the picture and Eric who’s she never really given a chance to be with her….but it could just be wishful thinking on our part but I think a revelation on her part will happen with Bill at seasons end

  5. I think Sookie is going to find out Bill killed her parents. He is from that area and would be the most likely candidate. Also when he was w/His maker L. he was brutal. What do you guy’s think?

    • just read the comments above;)

    • That would be sweet if that’s how it turns out. Though I’m not holding my breath. I can’t see the writers not putting Beehl and Sookie together.Brutal or not I can’t see Sookie ever really leaving Beehl.

  6. seemed like he was hinting that sookie has to come to grips with the fact she cant influence bill which may finally open her eyes and although eric has been aloof about the whole situation the glances are adding up to be more meaningful than anything that bill has spoken (even with mood music)
