Kristin Bauer Van Straten & Stephen Moyer Talk True Blood Final Season

It may still be months away and the writers haven’t even sent out the first script yet, but every chance the media get now, they will be quizzing the True Blood cast about their hopes for the final season! Kristin Bauer Van Straten and Stephen Moyer have been speaking to Huffington Post Canada  and Huffington Post.

Firstly KBVS:

HuffPost Canada TV: How do you feel knowing that “True Blood” is coming to an end?Bauer van Straten: I don’t like ends. Beginnings are sometimes good, but middles are awesome. Our middle is now over, and I don’t know what’s going to happen next year. I’m, of course, excited and also sad. I get to hang out with these people for another eight months and say these words and wear this clothing, and have this accent. [Laughs] It’s kind of a nice problem to have.

What about leaving the character? Leaving Pam behind? What a great character. I often think, “God, do I get two [characters] in this life?” “Nurse Jackie” came around after “The Sopranos” [for Edie Falco], so it’s possible. But this is a great female character. She’s really free from concerns that plague humanity. It’s so refreshing, even between action and cut, to take that one-and-a-half minute break from any fear or worry or concern. She has two — clothing and Eric.

And herself. [Laughs] OK, three.

If you could decide, what would you like to see happen to Pam in the final season? I know nothing. One of the most significant things about Pam is Pam and Eric’s relationship. I’ll be very interested in whatever happens there in Season 7. That’s a relationship I’ve enjoyed a lot — it has many layers to it, but it’s incredibly pure.

What about your relationship with Tara? Ah, that was fun. I love that pairing. I want to find out what happens with that relationship as well. It was so multi-layered. I went through a whole season trying to kill her, and I have to make her, so now she’s my baby, and she’s hot, so now I’m making out with her. [Laughs] I think that’s how life is, it’s messy. I like how — the HBO shows in particular — have those contradictions. Life is lived in the grey area.

In terms of sexuality, “True Blood” has always been an open show. How has it been working in that sort of environment? It’s been great. Love the lesbian love. Love the concept of “open.” If it’s hot, it’s hot. That’s probably the way of immortality — there’s something elevating about that viewpoint. If you’re around for a long time and you get to step outside of social mores, things are going to look different.

What, if anything, are you going to take from set? The yellow jumpsuit. The Wal-Mart suit. I have to have it. [Laughs]

And SM:

How do you feel going into the final season? I don’t know anything and I’m directing the first episode. I haven’t gotten a script yet and we start shooting in January. I’m really excited, really sad. It’s just a group of people that I absolutely love and it’s certainly the happiest and warmest set I’ve ever been on, so that’s going to be hard to walk away from.

Did you always know that Bill was going to be a good guy in the end? No, but I thought it was great for the show. I’m a really strong believer in doing what’s best for the show and if that means being a sh-t then that’s fine.

What do you think about the possibility of a Sookie-Bill reconciliation? I don’t know whether it’s possible given everything that’s happened. The first mistakes he made at the beginning of the relationship were definitely mistakes that were trying to protect her. It’s not anything he was doing that was necessarily bad. He was sent there, but he kept that from her purely because he didn’t want to hurt her and he didn’t know he was going to fall in love with this girl. I think that he will always be and always was a key for Sookie to unlocking her womanhood and who she became and who she is and who she was. She won’t forget that part of him. Whether there’s any possibility of anything else, I don’t know.

What about Eric? Do you think we’ll see him in the next season? I don’t know. If I told you that I don’t know you probably wouldn’t believe me, but I don’t.

Do you have your own twisted fantasy about what you hope to happen? Alex (Skarsgard) and I have been pushing for an Eric-Bill love scene for a long time, but they always said no. But our dream would be for my football team, West Ham United, to play his Swedish team, and would end up in some match-up that Bill and Eric happen to be able to get to.

That would be pretty great, but I don’t think Sookie would be to happy about that. I’m sure Sookie would find a way to be part of the action. She usually does.

Earlier in the week Rutina Wesley also spoke to Huffington Post and you can watch her video interview here  (and whilst we can’t blame her for pitching the idea of an Eric/Tara ending………….Rutina, I love you but you are on the wrong team!)

  1. Bill ended up as a good guy – *eyeroll* there is no hope for this show seriously ..would love to see Eric and Pam have a nice happy ending …don’t mean romantically..but in general..they have been through a lot and I would love they to leave and head to Europe and leave the sh called BT behind

    • ps they can take Willa with her, maybe Tara as well

      • I really want Pam to give Tara a chance, I know Tara is not Eric’s biggest fan but I think she is good for Pam. It would be nice if I could get something I want to happen in the end (Andy & Holly are my other couple that I love – don’t laugh – I can’t help it!)

        • I’d love to see a Pam and Tara endgame too. And I also think I like Andy and Holly (IF Holly is trustworthy-I’m not sure just yet).

  2. Please …..Bill has and never will be a good guy that has been a fact for many seasons and we all know that Bill and Sookie will get back together at some point next season…..they never should again but these writers are stupid ass folks.I like SM but his character Bill Is disgusting and I can’t stand looking at him.

  3. After reading both Kristins and Stephens interviews, I do believe that Kristin doesn’t know anything that’s upcoming in season 7. On the other hand, my Bullshit meter reads false on Stephens not knowing anything as he is their #1 “star” (blah) even above Anna or Alex and most importantly, hes’ directing episode 1. If anyone knows anything thats’ going to happen in season 7 its’ him.

As far as speculations go, I’m not even going there today, I get tired of sounds like a broken record (you real young members may not know what a record is, but its’ like a CD that has a “skip in it” and keeps saying the same old thing over and over). LOL…..
I just think that Stephen knows more than hes’ letting on………………

That is all and I hope all of our members that celebrate Thanksgiving had a great one yesterday and if you’re Black Friday shopping today – – Good Luck – – I wouldn’t leave the house today for anything!!!!!!

  4. Yes, I don’t know what to “say” about this show anymore myself. Like Maja, I feel hopeless for the show. Completely hopeless. Which is so not like me with things; I usually have at least A LITTLE bit of hope. Not here, though, sadly. The rapist, abuser, and misogynist characters always win and are presented as the “good” guys, and some real-life people buy into it (depressing), and the legitimately good characters are written as bad and/or evil and/or stupid/clueless (and I include the formerly amazing Sookie on that list). Just like the books. Soulless “storytelling.”

I still say Doormat Sookie either crawls back to Bill or settles for Seal Sex Sam at the last second with a generous side helping of Abuser Bill.

No offense, Stephen, but you know very well Alex’s status on TB. You kinda sorta run the show (not trying to be mean, just keeping it real).

So I guess because Sookie lost her virginity to Bill, she’s stuck with her rapist for the rest of her life, just like the books. “Wonderful” message. Controversy sells, right, HBO?

Sookie wouldn’t be involved in any potential Eric/Bill love scene. Alex is not allowed to have more than four scenes a season with Anna anymore. 🙂

So Stephen is going to keep peddling the “message” that everything Bill did to Sookie was for her “protection” and just because Bill was under orders. I can’t do this anymore. I’m tired. This was supposed to be entertainment and escapism. All it is now is an abusive mind-screw. 😦 Nothing new, just a never-ending string of abusive disappointments.

I saw the Rutina interview and read the KBvS interview prior to this post. I think they just have to “go with the flow.” They are not considered the “stars” of the show (even though I personally am a huge fan of both of them),

Knowing how abusive the remaining writers are, they might force an Eric and Pam “romance.” I love Eric and Pam, of course, but they are best friends and the vampiric equivalent of parent and child. In addition to that, Pam, like her Maker, is generally attracted to women. Like Maja, I hope for a good ending for Eric and his vampire “family” (Buckner has cut Eric out of the main action). At this point, I don’t know why anyone would stay in that evil boring snake pit called Bon Temps, including awesome people like Lafayette and Jason (and Sookie when she used to be cool), Ah, well, I don’t control the show.

Now that I’m off my soapbox :): thank you, Evie, for the post. I hope everyone here who celebrates had/is having a Happy Thanksgiving and a Happy Hanukkah (and, if not, that you’re having good days just the same).

    • It took me a while to write and post. I’m with redthang914-Stephen is the “most important” member of the cast to these people, above Alex (no matter his popularity on the show and off) and even Anna.

    • You got a very good point. I think Steve getting sick of the convestion`s going about him and his wife after the finale. Steve and Anna are being married, but the writers are so obsessed with their relationship and they started ripping off Queerlight (That’s my nickname for Twilight) begins with by stoving Billy luv Sookie cr*p down our throat. Probably Steve had enough of this bul**ap, he realizes Alex is the heart of the show and people really want to see Eric and Sookie`s HEA than douchbag and Sookie, but writers don’t want that. That’s really disappointed to fans and fans are already pi** off about it. I really hope Buckner and his staff changes their idiotic minds after too many complaints.

I don’t known Sookie will end with that douchbag Billy boy or Sam (like in the book). I remembered Brian Buckner referring him to Walter White from Breaking Bad. You known what had happened to Walter White? He dies at the end of Breaking Bad. I would imagine Billy boy redeems himself, but he becomes a zombie vamp and and Sookie is only 1 can stake him.( I really hope so), that’ll help her overcome her womanhood. 🙂

Thanks goodness, they didn’t do Eric/Bill scene in season 5. I rather see Eric/Sookie sex. I really hope they have that. Maybe they brings back the original luv triangle (Eric/Sookie/douchbag) after Alcide leave (probably around ep 3 or 2).

But I read some spoilers on some site (I believe they are a sh*t load of rumors that idiot pasted together what cast said. I didn’t buy Warlow is coming back, because he just died in Sookie`s bathroom). But 1 spoiler caught my eyes, it mentioned a major death in 1st of season 7 that Steven`s going to direct. I hate to say it that I`m worry it`ll turn be Eric`s , because Brian Buckner mentioned Eric will be back in some form and different than we known before. I`m really afraid he is only be in Pam`s flashbacks. 😦 (I hope it didn’t become true) Unless Buckner referring Eric as burn or they`re going to make him come back as a human/vamp hybrid….Probably it will out to be Sam who gets kill instead Eric in the premire, dying by saving his pregnant wife Nicole from the horde of zombie vamps and Jason ends up running the town….But I have a really bad gut feeling that things will go horrible what will happen to between Pam and Eric. 😦 Something’s about telling me that Eric’s going to do something unspeakable to Pam and Pam will not make it through the final season. (I think it have to do with that Aka girl, like protecting her from Pam). You known Brian Buckner is, he do things unspeakable. I got an awful feeling he`s going to end Eric/Pam`s relationship tradgy. I think Eric`ll might ok hopefully, but I have really bad feelings something’ll happen to Pam. I didn’t tell my friend this, because it will break her heart and She`s a diehard Pam fan. 😦

I really hope Tara and her boring relationship with her former abusive, alcoholic regional b**ch didn’t last. I also hope she becomes a zombie vamp. I freaking hate Rutina`s freaking rooting for Sookie ends up with that douchbag (no offense, she is a good actress, but I don’t like she’s rooting for the wrong team).

      • I means *he’s getting sick controversy’s going on* .

        • Shelli-I read those “spoilers” too. I agree that I don’t think Warlow is coming back either. He DID die. That might be a step too far, even for this show.

I have a feeling that neither Eric nor Pam will be killed off, at least not in the beginning of the season. I think Pam might be okay. I could see Buckner turning Pam against Eric, though. 😦 Buckner said he will drag out the “Where’s Eric?” story for a while, though, so I think that Buckner might handle that story initially through dreams (like Jason dreaming about Eric) and flashbacks (maybe Sylvie the French girl is in flashback like Peasant Girl with Human Eric in season 3) until Eric comes back to Bon Temps to play second fiddle to Buckner’s/the writers’ Saint Rapist Bill *gag*.

I have a hunch the “major death” could be Plot Device Pregnant Nicole, which would free up Seal Sex Sam to come sniffing around Doormat Sookie again. I think Nicole will be killed off or sent away at some point. Killing Nicole in the s7 premiere would be a lazy re-write of Luna’s death in the s6 premiere, but what can you do? The writers always kill off Sam’s “girlfriends” to keep him on the line for the “gash in a sundress.” 🙂

I have NO interest in a rehash of Tara’s relationship with her original abuser Lettie Mae either. I don’t want Tara to become a “zombie” vamp, though. Rutina has publicly rooted for Sookie to crawl back to her rapist Bill in the past, so I’m not surprised by this latest interview. Disappointed, though, as always. I am a fan of Rutina’s work, she seems really nice, and I don’t blame her for this. It’s not her fault the writers promote rape-as-romance and domestic-violence-as-sexy with Sookie and Bill. Rutina has to play the game to keep her job and keep getting work, which means she is forced to publicly gush over rape-as-romance on the show. She’s not the first TB cast member/writer to do this either. They all conveniently seem to ship either Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Sam. Just my take.

I would LOVE for Boring Rapist Bill Compton to end up like Walter White, or at the very least just leave for good. I hate the Bill character, but it’s not the fun love-to-hate, hate-to-love. He has pretty much single-handedly ruined the show for me right now.

This isn’t the first time Moyer has talked about him and Alex “pitching” an Eric/Bill “love” scene. It’s not happening, of course. I presume it’s their idea of a “joke.” 🙂

If Buckner/the writers would let Bill be the evil turdstain he is and let Eric be the anti-hero/regular/good person he is and let Eric have more than four scenes a season with Sookie, then maybe the controversy might ease up on Stephen and Anna. After all, they don’t write the show. It sometimes does feel like the writers let Anna’s and Stephen’s personal lives influence the direction of the show, and that’s unfair to Anna and Stephen.

I ALWAYS prefer Eric/Sookie lovemaking. 🙂 Sookie and Eric making love, forever and ever.

*Me, climbing off my soapbox for today…or right now…*

          • A lot of people thought Dexter will end up with Deb and escaped to out of the country with Harrison, because Michael C. Hall said Dexter still have feelings for Deb and Brit Morgan said Deb still have feelings for Dexter . The writer said the same sh*t, BLAH BLAH they have feelings for each others. (Eww I known they didn’t related, but that’s wrong). But they didn’t wind up 2gether; Deb got kill, Harrison ends up taking care by Dexter`s psycho ex Hannah, and Dexter is on the run….Breaking Bad have a way better ending than Dexter. We had known Walter White was going to die at the end….But I just saying Steve and Anna`remarried, but I think it doesn’t mean Sookie will end up with douchbag.

I don’t believe what Steve said in his interview, because he pulled that sh*t all time. Remember last year, he said Billy boy is “evil” but he`s doing “good things”. You known you known actors are, they says oppsite things about their characters. Actors who plays the villains always says sh*t all time like that like “they are the ‘good guy'” and they`ve must fight what they believe in.” (For examples: The Governor from TWD, Dennis “Russel” O’Hara, and Rob “Warlow”). I`m not buying a “Billy boy`s good guy”. That douchbag is or will never to be a good guy. Billy is the worse character in True Blood`s history, he should to be torch by the sun or stake by Sookie.

Did you known douchbag reminds of? The sicko, sociopath Governor from The Walking Dead. Because Andrea and Mulberry townspeople worshipped The freaking Governor as a saint, but they ends up getting kill by him. Now Sookie and Bon Temps townspeople’s doing the damn same thing, worshipping douchbag Billy boy as a saint. (That makes me sick. *vomit*). I would pic their “beloved savior” will becomes their worse nightmare by turning into a zombie vamp.

I also very afriad that Eric will become the sex slave to the faery queen Mab if she comes back, because he did kill 1 of her faeries (you think that you fear that’ll might happen), Sookie`s faery godmother (that Amnesic Eric drained in season 4). I really hope not that happen. 😦 I rather see Eric gets save by Sookie and she ends up to using the magic ball on Mab if she’ll womanize up than being a slutbag…I always the writers’ll make fear Eric will stake Pam by allowing letting that Aka girl gets away or Pam becomes a zombie vamp and kills the woman he luv, he have to stake her to put her out of her misery. I really hope not it`ll become true. 😦

But I really hope you’re right, that “sunbathing” might will turn to be Jason`s dream, and probably Eric actaully was in Paris and hunting down Sarah Newlins in last couple months, he even have a girlfriend. Don’t forget, Brian Buckner wrote the ep 9 where Sarah left, he was actually tracking Sarah. Probably Brian`s referring him as a mask vigilant, maybe that form Brian Brian had mentioned. Who known? I would luv to see Eric`s kicking a** in the Batman costume and blowing up TruBlood. 🙂

I think the “Bringing back Nicole” thing won`t see it happen. I`m thinking the “major” death would might be Sam (I`m might be wrong :\). I would see Jason ends up running the town (probably he`s getting manipulate by that psycho b**ch,because I don’t trust that b**ch at all), and saddle in with Sam`s wife (after he stakes that b**ch violet or Eric rips her apart) at the end of series. I rather see him ends up with Willa (if Eric allow it).

That site with those “spoilers”, 1 of “spoilers” has mentioned Tara`s mom will cross path with the deads. Probably Pam will shown up and starts a b**ch fight with Tara`s mom. I would luv to see the way Pam threaten Tara`s mom. 🙂 Tara wouldn’t be happy.

I miss the original triangle between Eric,Sookie, and douchbag. That is what missing from the show last 2 seasons. Now The writers was planning “Queerlight” triangle. I really hope Eric will come in the big pic than the writers making money off on Anna and Steve`s personal lives (it is really shame).

          • Shelli-I 100% agree with you that actors publicly say the opposite of what their characters are REALLY up to all the time. “Trolling.” Showrunners and writers do it all the time too. I think “Billy” is the worst character on TB too. As I “said” earlier, the character himself and the “hero worship” way he’s treated on screen and in current interviews is the biggest reason I can’t watch TB right now. I also still feel “burned” by the WAY Harris ended the SVM, including letting Rapist Bill get away with his crimes scot-free, and I feel that rapist apologist bait and switch con job attitude all over TB right now too. I thought, prior to DEA, that Harris was trolling in HER public comments and gave her every benefit of every doubt. My bad. 😦 But, again, like you “said,” the TB people could definitely be trolling. If, in the end, that’s what it turned out to be, all is forgiven by me. 🙂

I didn’t like the ending of Dexter (a series that dragged on at least two seasons too long) and LOVED the ending of Breaking Bad (a series that knew when to get out, on top).

I don’t watch The Walking Dead but I’ll trust your judgment on the similarities between that show and TB. Sounds legitimate to me.

I keep having this fear that Violet is TB’s answer to SVM Freyda and that TB Eric will end up a sex slave to Violet just like SVM Eric ended up a sex slave to Freyda. The Jason-Violet “relationship” on TB feels like SVM Eric-Freyda to me. Maybe the suddenly majorly important Violet might show up in Jason’s dream about Eric in s7. 😦

I’m not sure if “sunbathing” Eric in s6 was Jason’s dream. In my previous post, I was actually thinking about Jason’s dream about Eric maybe being a scene we haven’t seen yet. But you just gave me a great idea with the Eric “sunbathing” scene from s6 finale! That could definitely turn out to be Jason’s dream. Eric felt “off” in that scene to me. He would never just stand there and burn like an idiot with no gameplan, and in general take off and abandon his “family” (including Doormat Sookie), especially in the middle of a crisis. I would like to think that’s what it really is and not retconned writing. I don’t trust Buckner and the writers right now.

I forgot about Queen Mab. You have a solid theory there. 😦

I would love to see the Sam character killed off (no offense, Sam Trammell, on the off chance you’re actually reading this, but I’ve been “over” your character since the s3 premiere, and have been fast-forwarding through you since s5). Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen. If Sookie doesn’t end up with Rapist Bill, I think that Buckner might pull a “Harris” and have Sookie end up with Seal Sex Sam in the end. 😦 Ironically, I thought Sam had much more interesting chemistry once-upon-a-time with Tara than he EVER did with Sookie. Good luck selling that, HBO.

This might sound off the wall (even for TB) and will probably never happen, but I wouldn’t mind a revival of tension, or at least a friendship, between Jason and Tara. Tara used to have feelings for Jason once upon a time, and he used to know her and seem to care about her. I love Tara when the writers don’t have her in “hostage” mode, and not kissing Rapist Bill’s butt. I believe Tara is bisexual, so her having “feelings” for Jason again wouldn’t be too far out in left field. I highly doubt it will happen again, though. I have no interest in Jason-Violet, and I never warmed up to Jason and the overrated Jessica (I still feel SO sorry for poor Hoyt). So far, I’m lukewarm about Willa. I don’t understand her purpose in the story, since Nora (and Sookie!) was already around. Same with Nicole and the insta-pregnancy, since Luna and Emma were already well-established since s4.

Even though I can’t stomach Rapist Bill anymore, I agree with you completely that the Eric-Sookie-Bill triangle is what made True Blood. This show used to be a pop culture phenomenon. Sam, Warlow, and Alcide will never replace Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman. Paquin does not have the chemistry with any of these other actors the way she did with Skarsgard. The viewers are not idiots. The writers need to realize before it’s too late that Anna is not Sookie, Stephen is not Bill (thank God!), and True Blood is not an expensive documentation of Anna’s and Stephen’s personal lives. And very few viewers want Sookie with Seal Sex Sam!

Nice to “talk” to you. Have a good day.

  5. All I have to say is that I hope, (sorry I really hate using that word) it’s a better ending than that damn last book! Wouldn’t it be a real kick in the face to all of us if they choose that ending to go back to being based on the books?

  6. Did anyone hear that Charlaine Harris gave the reigns to another author to write Eric’s story? It’s supposed to take place 200 years after Dead Ever After. I don’t know if this is true, but I read a fan fiction that does the same thing and I’ll just stick to that. I doubt some author I’ve never heard of will do him justice, either.

    • Tammy, I just read a post on FB about this. It was posted by World of Skarsgard and it didn’t mention that CH handed over the rights, as I wrote a post asking about that. I would contact them and see what they tell you. I’m a bit leery about this, but if you find out anything. Please post for us so we all know, ‘K??

      • Tammy and redthang914-they’ve been discussing it on the Amazon Dead Ever After message boards and Tumblr. Apparently, it’s been in the works since 2012, I believe. It’s not being edited by CH. It’s a bunch of authors writing stories about SVM characters except Sookie. It’s called Dead but Not Forgotten. Eric’s story is called “Widower’s Walk” and takes place 201 years after DEA and is written by CH’s “friend” Mary Janice Davidson. It comes out in May like the SVM books (and just in time for the last season of TB). I don’t trust the lot of them, of course, but for you and everyone else who’s interested, that’s the info I have right now.

        • Well, I can’t imagine CH would be too thrilled about that.

        • Thanks for Clearing that up. I still am leery that CH would just “let” her friend write about her characters like that. I would think if this is the case however, then CH is getting a piece of the published proceeds since shes’ only worried about the $$$$$$ anyway. I will check this out further and thanks for such a speedy reply. I appreciate it!!

          • She has proven several times that she doesn’t give a damn about Eric, but I’m sure she’ll be getting paid as well.

          • redthang914 and tammydevil83-glad to help. I would also strongly presume CH is getting paid for this official fanfiction. It’s her “toys”-I mean, characters. 🙂 I agree-she does not care about Eric, her former/current readers, her integrity, etc. For CH, it’s all about the money, money, money *Jessie J song blaring in my head as I write this*.

  7. Just read these interviews had problems with my pc… can’t believe what Stephen Moyer said! I remember not long time ago that he thought Bill was evil but now he’s ok always loved Sookie protecting her wasn’t doing nothing bad Sookie will always look at Bill for he’s just a loving person introduced to her womanhood WTF and Rutina Ships Bill/sookie Wow these actors are forced to do and say anything for HBO

  8. This is just getting on my nerves now….

Why does a bunch of turds gets to write a bunch of lovely characters to dust?

Why is first love soooo overrated?

Why does the abuser get what he wants and the protector keeps battling it out forever?

Why doesn’t anyone give a shit about what us fans want?

    • E&SL-LOVE the “snow!” Love this site! Happy Winter Season to all!

Jackie69-same things I’m thinking about HBO. Same BS, different day. I’m officially numb to it all.

sakshichopra-GREAT questions, especially the ones about “first love” (I HATE when people overly romanticize “first love”-they are first for a reason! You’re still figuring out who you are and your first boyfriend/girlfriend can be part of your journey there. Most people don’t stay with their “first love” because they evolve and sometimes go in different directions. You need to keep growing as a person. It’s organic.), and Abuser Bill getting what he wants and Protector Eric battling it out with the abuser forever. I think all Buckner, the writers HBO hasn’t fired/haven’t quit yet, and the HBO execs care about is the money (like CH). They got to seven seasons, so they’re in a position to flip us the bird regarding this story. Sad but true. Buyer beware. HBO and Penguin endorse rapist/abuser/misogynist characters winning. I’ve learned my lesson. 😦

Hope everyone here has a nice weekend. I am. 🙂

  9. I have a theory: that the writers deliberately destroyed the integrity Sookie once held and made her like she is so that she would be a “better” match for the douchebag… I’m sure feeling that they deserve each other more than Sookie deserves Eric… Sorry peeps, I know we’ve all wanted and prayed for a Sookie/Eric end game, but it ain’t happening.

And all this talk about abuser Bill and what-not is tragically well timed for the announcement of a verdict to a very much publicised murder trial which revealed details of a relationship with such a character, it’s frightening! It’s for that reason I’m swaying towards the ‘not gonna watch the final season’ camp
