Cosmopolitan took a walk on the “night” side when they decided to “definitively” rank 18 of TV/Movies in order of hotness. Oh kooky here, two of True Blood’s vampires made the list… as book ends, since one is ranked 18th and the other proves why he is Alpha amongst the rest of them.

Yes, thanks for sharing, B. 🙂 I, like Sakshi, love that the writer of the piece didn’t feel the need to explain why Eric Northman is the #1 vampire. It is a given. I also love that the late Aaliyah is #5 for Akasha in the Queen of the Damned film. I wouldn’t have minded also seeing Godric, Pam, and/or Tara from TB on the list, but I won’t complain.
Now if only someone would give Mr. Northman a story I love again…
Of course the viking is #1! Was there ever any doubt?! However, I did take issue with some nonvampires making it onto a vampire list which left out any mention of The Lost Boys and Gary Oldman as Dracula.
Thrilled about #1, enraged about #2. My blond vampires should have topped the list! Also a bit surprised that Damon was so low . . . usually these things have some amalgamation of Eric-Spike-Damon as the top three. As it should be.
Don’t care about Damon, but I totally agree with Spike. I don’t know how Angel beat him, it’s just not right.
The list was awesome! Eric on top as he should be. Hope HBO was looking. Even though we will be treated to Billshit for season 7 and limited Eric it’s nice to know that someone in mainstream media (Cosmo) feels the way we do. If only . . .

Eric should be #1 in all lists regardless. The writers do use his sex appeal but in ridiculous ways like the season finale. Am still trying to repress the memory…

Actual grown women must’ve compiled this list (yayyy!) ‘Cause we all know if anyone under 25 had been allowed a vote, Damon Salvatore and Edward Cullen would’ve eclipsed our mighty Viking…and that’s just WRONG!
After all this depressing talk we’ve all been through the last several days, it was beyond a breath of fresh air that this article came up in Cosmo. As stated above, I am so glad that someone besides just us “Eric/Alex fans” here know that Eric Northman is number 1 of all those listed, even above Spike and TVD vamps. I am not really defending Bill here but Stephen the actor, to be #18 is really a feather in his acting cap, as he has accomplished what he was cast to do, be the biggest hated Vamp of them all. I’m sure Steve is laughing about this all the way to the bank…… regardless how you feel about Steve’s role, he is a heck of an actor to make you believe it.
But, I degress, back to Alex I’m glad he is back in LA now. Now we need to see a pic of him on set to help make us feel better too. As I have said, long after TB is gone, Eric will live on in my heart forever.
