There were two episode titles which have been changed for episodes 4 and 5. I wonder if this will be another year of multiple episode titles changes?

Looks like we’ll get an Eric/Pam flashback in episode 7.04, which will be interesting to find out how they found Fangtasia. And they’ll be going back to Dallas too…which makes NO SENSE since Eric was there in Season 2…why go back now for a fundraiser? On the plus side…it looks like Eric will be returning to Louisiana.

I feel bad about Willa being forced to find a new place to stay…

I wonder what kind of stupid plan Sookie has in store for us during the next episode? And I wonder why she would be unwilling to be a party host?

As for the rest…YAWN.

What are your thoughts and speculations? Please share ’em below.

27 comments on “July’s True Blood Episode Synopsis & Titles

  1. In all honesty, I’m kind of scared to read the spoilers. I am a lily-livered, chicken-hearted TB coward now. I want to hide out under my bed and pretend that none of this fuckery is happening, that Eric’s all happy and ‘alive’ and healthy in France, and that the mysteriously disappearing Niall mysteriously reappears, grows a clue, and pops Sookie over to Eric’s lair/den/bedroom/sauna/whatever…in France, and cue end of show. (Or hell, just leave Stoopie where she is, parted from her phone, and just let Eric be all HEA in whichever way HE chooses – I’m game!)

  2. SO, Sookie will hatch a plan and get more people killed and then will have to be the bearer of bad news! I wish the town stakes her!

Maybe Sarah Newlin, after shedding her past, meets up with Eric and Pam in that gala in Dallas?

    Eric in a gala = Eric is a tux…yum 🙂

Another Bon Temps mainstreaming party???? Seriously??! Are they fucking kidding me??!! And who the hell would turn up at Sookie’s party anyways? More bigoted hicks, more bad thoughts floating around, more pity parties for Sookie, more danger whore behavior! It’s a vicious circle folks! Somebody, just drain her!

    • Just noticed we are on the same page re;Eric/Sarah/Pam… I think its very possible she’s the adversary mentioned in the synopsis… I hope one of them rips her head off!!

  3. Thanks 🙂

I was thinking that this compelling reason for Eric could either be Pam convincing him that Sookies blood could heal him, or she gets all sentimental about losing Tara and reminds him of his values as a maker and that Willa is all on her own… ??
I think the Rev Daniels could kick out Willa for feeding Lettie May her blood again?

Looking at the other eps.. Seeing as they are talking about an elusive adversary, i have absolutely no idea who that could be… Unless its Sarah Newlin??? She did have that cult in Dallas… Maybe she ran back there after Jason let her live?

  4. Stake Beel!! For reals this time!!

Vince sounds like a cartoon from the first two eps. He’ll take the fall for Sam’s/Beel’s/whoever’s bad behavior. No consequences. Again. Glad I’m not watching.

Jason “wants” a future with his latest rapist Violet. Cute?

Go. Away. Sarah Newlin. (No offense, Anna Camp.) Sarah will take the fall for Beel. Again.

Does Pam know of a cure for Hep-V?

Seal Sex Sam and Stepford Sookie, sittin’ in a tree…

Where’s Sookie’s latest beloved boring abuser Alcide?

Pam and Eric are madly in lurve.

Beel and Jessica’s “unexpected sources:” they feed on their favorite fairy bloodbags/idiot doormats Sookie and Adilyn? Even more glad I’m not watching.

I so don’t care about the “H-Vamps.” Except for what Bucky is doing to our Eric, of course.

    Beel is Stepford Sookie’s “hero.”

    Who are all these writers?

This was more fun than I’m sure the actual episodes are. Thanks! 🙂

  5. At this time, I have read over all the other comments my dear friends above have posted and right now, I say “yep, thats’ good, whatever ya’ll say” as it’s probably goin’ be a f–ked up mess anyway. I really don’t feel like speculating on this train wreck right now. I just don’t have it in me………………(I am glad that Eric is coming back to US tho, I thought he’d stay in France).

  6. There is nothing fun about Trueblood anymore. To reduce the best character on the show… Eric, to hepv and putting Sookie back with Bill is just plain retarded!

  7. I can’t say I’m excited with what I’ve read like most of you I’m just waiting to see how it ends. The only good thing I can see is at least they now mention Eric in the synopsis and it seems we may have a good amount of Eric scenes hopefully.

  8. I’ll watch the episodes on Hbo go after you girls post the reviews, so I don’t get to be horribly surprised!!! 😖 The only thing I’m grateful for is that TB brought us our Viking and we get to see him in his amazing Viking god character at least a couple of more episodes!! (I wish it was called True Viking Blood and it will be all about Eric Northman) one can dreamzzzzz!!! I’ll just keep hitting the fast fwd button only to see Eric’s scenes!! Thanks girls for the spoilers!!!!

  9. Am I the only one who doesn’t get how cities could get wiped out? Umm they’re vampires. Lay low in your house after dark and you’ll be fine. They can’t come in without an invitation and without looking them in the eye they can’t glamour you. It would suck, but surviving wouldn’t be all that hard.

    • The problem is you have common sense and understand the rules in this world. The writers clearly don’t. They change things to accommodate their lame ass plot lines and expect us not to notice.

Exhibit A: Bill explodes into a bloody puddle then miraculously is resurrected.
Exhibit B: Sookie stakes Bill but it doesn’t take because he’s Billith.
Exhibit C: Baby vampires are like human infants and can’t be left on their own= Willa.

I could go on, but you get my point. And I don’t blame Eric for Willa. That shit is on the writers who thought we’d buy a 1000 year old vampire sunbathing on a mountaintop with no shelter in sight.

      • Yep, these have to be the worst writers I’ve ever seen. I’ve honestly never hated a show more.

      • Ah yes. I momentarily forgot that the best (or only) way to enjoy later seasons of TB is to completely turn off rational thought and look at the insanely hot man.

I’m so torn about whether I should delete the latest episode from my DVR. On one hand, Eric has never looked better and I would definitely want to replay those scenes more than once. On the other hand, you couldn’t pay me to sit through the rest of that shitty episode.

        • I only watched Alex’s two scenes in ep.2. I have not watched ep.1. I watch Alex’s scenes out of my respect for him as an actor/artist/businessperson, who he seems to be as a person, and this one character he played. I love/like most of the rest of the cast, but I have no interest in/desire for the retconned “story.”

          • I’m only watching his scenes as well, but if he does die, I’m not watching that.

          • tammy-If Eric dies the True Death, I’ll watch it once out of my respect for Alex. Then I’ll never watch it again. Once is enough for me. I’ll never buy the DVD either. I’ll just watch the scenes of his that I actually do love on YouTube. 🙂

          • I didn’t buy the season 6 DVD’s, I have no intention of buying season 7 either. But as much as I love Alex, I won’t be able to watch him die. I’ve already had to watch that with a few of my favorite vampires, I can’t do it again.

          • tammy-I understand and respect that. Obviously I wouldn’t choose for Eric to die the True Death either (if it were our choice to make). It would be extremely painful for me to see. But I’d only watch it once. Probably. I guess I’m an Eric masochist. 🙂 (And I didn’t buy s6 on DVD too. Or s5.)

          • Forgot to add: Bucky might not have killed off Eric, so I might be catastrophizing (if that’s a word) for nothing. 🙂

  10. You know when I first watched the episode, I was pretty ticked off! How could they do this to Eric? Why has Sookie not evolved over seven seasons? What were they thinking? But as the series is drawing to a close, I find myself feeling less angry and more relieved that it’ll finally be over and done with, but also sad. This is not the show I fell in love with! I can’t pin point where the downfall really started to happen, but somewhere it lost the spark and wit that drew me in. The characters that I once found charming are now annoying. Our heroin is impossible to root for, and the characters that I still love have been discarded like trash (Eric and Pam, and a little Lafayette).

  11. Lydia, I couldn’t agree more. The writers have turned, Sookie, into a woman that will settle for the bottom of the barrel. Alcide, was part of the first episodes, when he helped her find, Bill. She and Eric are supposed to be together, in this, the last season. Not Alcide, and there should be a good outcome for all these wonderful characters.

    • I could forgive Sookie’s character in the early seasons, because I don’t think she was supposed to be that smart, in terms of how the world of vampires works, and in some cases the human world. All of her character flaws had a good explanation, and they really had a good set up to eventually turn her into a strong heroin, that at the time I think could have even rivaled the likes of Buffy. When she chose neither Eric or Bill, as much as it pained me, I really admired her character for it. She knew it was a screwed up situation and chose herself for the first time in her life. Then that all went down hill. Like I said before, the show had so much potential and they completely through it all out the window. The even more astonishing thing is I think the writers are actually really proud of this season.

  12. I think that Alcide, Maxine and Nicole will die this upcoming week. I think that Eric and Pam are going to go searching for a scientist to help find a cure for Hep V. I also believe that Sarah may have gotten pregnant by Jason last season and her “shedding her past” is gonna be her dropping the baby off with Jason. Just my theories. I hope that they find a cure before Eric dies, but I’m wondering if it will be like Bill in the books after the faery war: will he be weaker than he was before as a result of the Hep V?

  13. I really do not give two shits about Sarah Newlin, Jason should have killed her last season. What is wrong with tthese stupid writers. They should be telling the end of the story, of all our beloved characters. Instead they are just creating more stupid plot lines that no one cares about. Why do they not understand that we the fans want closure. Not bull shit!
